Thank you for booking with Kimberley Dreams, please take a moment to read the following important information and conditions.
All costs as per your supplied itinerary, meals, camping or accommodation fees, park, entry & cruise fees, professional expedition leader.
Domestic or scenic flights (unless arranged). Pre and Post tour accommodation ( unless arranged ). Personal expenses such as laundry, telephone, fax charges or alcohol other than where specified. Personal or medical items.
Kimberley Dreams are licensed and accredited with the Conservation and Land Management Commission, Savannah Guides Limited, Aboriginal Tourism Australia, Kimberley Tourist Association in Western Australia, and are accredited with the Northern Territory of Australia under the Commercial Passenger Transport Act.
All expedition leaders hold current first aid certification.
MEDICAL / HEALTH AND FITNESS
Please advise of any medical conditions or existing health and fitness issues. Walking and hiking into gorges is considered to be moderately graded. Water is carried at all times.
Please provide an emergency contact, in case of illness, accident or any other mishap.
You are welcome to pass our contact details to relatives or friends.
Each vehicle carries a satellite telephone and inverter for re-charging camera batteries etc.
Please advise any dietary requirements prior to travel, allergies or meal preference (low fat, non gluten, etc
We strongly advise you purchase travel insurance when booking your air travel, your travel agent should offer this to you. Kimberley Dreams can arrange this on your behalf if required.
Kimberley Dreams cannot be held responsible for tour program alterations due to flooding, acts of nature, cultural reasons, missed flight connections, medical evacuations, and damage to personal belongings or loss of property.
Upon confirmation of your touring program a 20% deposit ( per person ) is required. Final payment is due one month prior to travel. A Tax Invoice will be raised and forwarded to you.
Cancellation fees –
3 months prior a full refund will be given
25% within 14-30 days of travel
50% within 8-13 days of travel
100% within 7 days cancellation fee applies
VEHICLES & TRAILERS
Four Wheel drive Landcruiser GXL’S licensed to carry 7 passengers, vehicles have been fitted with heavy duty suspension, shock absorbers and snorkels for river crossings.
Trailers are specially designed & purpose built for the rugged conditions. Trailers carry 200 – 300 litre industrial eskies for food & beverages, luggage storage and equipment.
Beverages are to be purchased by the client. In some areas where alcohol restrictions apply, alcohol cannot be purchased or consumed. We suggest you purchase alcohol prior to departing Darwin, Kununurra or Broome.
It is recommended that film, sunscreen, insect repellent is purchased prior to tour, in some cases these items may not be available en-route and can be very costly.
Itinerary is subject to change at any time due to severely poor road conditions, weather and or cultural reasons.
